dreams-half-way

I sometimes ask how your day is, and you say little and let it set in with its own story over our being. I often wonder what is on your mind and you answer my thoughts with a smile or a word of hi – little things of greater meaning. I ponder, so many times, upon your heart and you approach and let me hear: you don’t say a word, yet every time it is as if you breathe with poetry all over me…or was it just a song? I don’t recall the notes, but I know it was about the truth of feelings. I see them in your mirror whenever my heart speaks to you. And we’re both silent. (Soar)
